Alianza Student of the Year: Claudia Ivanna Cordova

Claudia Ivanna Cordova has been attending Alianza’s Dual Language Immersion Program since Kindergarten. She is fully bilingual and biliterate in English and Spanish. Ivanna shared that she loves attending Alianza Charter School because she has the opportunity to learn in Spanish and English. She believes being bilingual is important because it will help her do more things in life. In the future, Ivanna plans to become a writer, so she can write bilingual stories for children. Ivanna has been an active member of the Alianza community by participating as a Student Council representative and is currently working as a Conflict Manager. In her free time she enjoys reading books and writing. She is a very dedicated student, full of energy and enthusiasm.
