(3.1) RECOMMENDED:  Divide given classroom books between fiction and non-fiction.

(3.2) Describe the elements of poetry (e.g. rhythm, rhyme alliteration).

(3.3) Read and respond both orally and in writing to a variety of childrenÕs literature.
