SABE Results:
Good news is that almost every category at every grade level is above the 50th %ile

SABE: The next graph details cohort growth. 4%age points is considered significant, meaning that the difference cannot be attributed to chance.

SABE: This chart compares the whole group of students v. those here since Kinder in the area of reading. It refers to the percentage of students scoring above the 50th%ile.

SAT9: Overall results, that will be used to calculate our API.

SAT9: This compares this year's results with last year's results. In 2nd and 3rd grade we need to see significant growth, which means at least 4%age points, which we did not get. In the upper grades we need to see an acceleration, or more than just significant growth in order to close the achievement gap. Our 5th and 6th graders need to get above the 50th %ile.

SAT9: Most importantly is comparing cohort growth, tracking the same group of students. Again, this shows movement in the right direction, but does not reflect the acceleration needed to meet our performance goals.

SAT9: Program Evaluation sent over this data comparing the District performance with Alianza performance when we look at cohort growth over 2 years of matched scores.

SAT9 - This chart compares students from two groups, whole grade and those present since Kinder. It indicates what percentage of students met our goal of scoring above the 50th%ile.

CA Standards Test/Reading-LA: Standards are where it is and will be even more so next year. Next year 60% of the API will be based on CST results.

CA Standards Test/Reading-LA: While the percentages above are of great concern, we are moving in the right direction as shown below in a comparison of cohort performance. For instance, the first 2 bars below show that last year's 3rd Graders moved 11% from the Below & Far Below quintiles into the Advanced-Proficient-Basic quintiles.

CA Standards Test/Math:

CA Standards Test/Math: In this chart the 5th Graders were the only group that moved in the undesired direction.
